Akru Service Agreement
By signing up, you ("Carrier") agree to the following:
1. SERVICE. Akru provides software that audits Carrier's ELD records to detect detention, generates evidence-backed invoices, and sends those invoices and follow-up reminders to shippers as Carrier's agent. Carrier remains the creditor of record on every invoice and keeps 100% of amounts recovered.
2. FEE. Akru charges a flat subscription fee of $39/month or $390/year, following a 14-day free trial. Akru takes no percentage of recovered detention — Carrier keeps 100% of what it collects. Carrier may cancel at any time.
3. AUTHORIZATION. Carrier authorizes Akru to prepare and send detention invoices and reminders to shippers in Carrier's name, solely in connection with detention recovery. Carrier remains the party in interest and the creditor; Akru does not take assignment of, or title to, any receivable.
4. CARRIER REPRESENTATIONS. Carrier represents that: (a) it is authorized to enter this agreement; (b) the detention claims it submits are legitimate and supported by ELD records; and (c) submitted loads have not been factored or assigned to a third party without disclosure.
5. NO LEGAL ACTION. Akru is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice or collection-agency services. Carrier pursues any further collection remedies itself.
6. TERMINATION. Either party may terminate at any time with written notice; Carrier's subscription stops at the end of the current billing period.Already have an account? Sign in
